About

About this Webcomic:

Edge the Devilhunter (ETD) debuted January 2004, about 6 months after the author fled Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. The webcomic itself is informed by the author’s direct and vivid experiences growing up in the poverty and squalor of New Brunswick’s now-gentrified black inner city, his later experiences with white commies at Rutgers, and too many hours wasted on videogames throughout the whole deal.

ETD’s story concerns a young boy named Jack who is forcibly brought back to life and coerced by the angels of heaven into the great mission of eradicating hell’s earthbound armies. Thing is, he’s not all that thrilled about his job and spends much of his time chasing money and girls and generally being a nuisance to his handlers. His divine allies include a ganja-smoking rasta guardian angel, a big-boobied celestial girl Friday, and a Mesopotamian warlord condensed into an AI and hardwired into his skull.
