I feel sorry for this nameless security person, or whatever he is.
No amount of alcohol or therapy will ever erase that sight. Though he will try, I’m sure. I would, and I don’t even drink.
The same will probably apply to Nimrod as well, once he realizes where he is.

I bet Nimrod already knows where he is. He was running scared, and now it seems more like he’s decided to do everything in his power to see this through. Almost…heroic.
And I stand by my statement before. Chances are that they didn’t kill gods because it would upset the entire pantheon when everyone went to claim their piece of the god’s domains.
In the first panel, Zajra looks like a D. Rex…which is a perfect name for him, incidentally.

this is one of those moments where I REALLY feel bad for Jack and wish he had a decent ally.
The crazy lady in his head is screaming at him to kill a giant dick god as he’s being SWALLOWED by it and has a missing leg.
That dude better get him some tail after this, you big fat meanie head!

Another question, though. What will happen with the leg(stump). Something-mutants are reputedly able to live through almost any kind of shit, but what about lost limbs? Can he regenerate it, or will the upstairs folks have to break out the miracles?

Is it just me or is Aryel having a blonde moment. That face she’s making in panel 6 makes it seem like she just got past some big mental blockage. Like she figured out something, that to us,would seem every basic out, but to her was the find of the century.

@jeffs: I think she’s just playing with Jack and being an ass. After all, she can afford to – she’s not the one who screwed up here, and if she does end up taking the rap for it, she might as well have as much fun as she can at Jack’s expense in the meantime.
@Groundhog: C-mutants. Chances are the blood loss has already stopped on the leg. As for regeneration, well, we’ll just have to wait and see, won’t we?

@all: I’ll be bantering with everyone soon. This con is awesome, not too big, not too small, and I got to meet, talk, and do panels with the Applegeeks duo and Scott Sava of Dreamland Chronicles fame.
