No update Friday as I’m heading to a con in Chicago. Major apologies for the lateness on this. I was having this ready for Sunday, but getting this page right was PARAMOUNT to the timeliness i.e. the dialog, the art, the coloring especially (I’ve finally settled on a look and style). The plot point alone had to be introduced as well as possible given my meager talents. Everything after this page hinges on what’s now revealed. ETD return next Wed. with regular updates. Finally got the hang of this. I think.

One year, huh? Is he referring to the apocalypse? How much time was Jack given to complete his mission again?

One year if memory serves.
@edgy: This is only to serve as constructive criticism… I think the coloring on her nipples in the first panel is a little off, something seems wrong/off about them. Tanks for darkening his eyes though.
If this guy thinks Mars is a joke then he either has some serious fire power at his disposal or he something else of a magnitude far greater than anything I’ve ever seen. Something else that gives me pause is how he The dialogue is playing out… from what I’m gathering here it would seem that he has done this “cleansing” across countless world, in more than just a couple of dimensions. If I’m way off base here Edgy please let me know.

If I were a betting man I’d bet that Elvy is the only thing standing between mankind and extinction.

@cgd: Hitchcockian withholding of information, my friend.
@jeffs: Yeah, my last hookup had very light-colored, pinkish nipples so that prob’ly influenced the coloring. Coloring boobies in webcomics is a pretty new thing for me so I might not get it all right the first go-round.
@mlm: That’s actually a pretty good guess. Not that I’m affirming in the positive or anything.

Heh. If it wasn’t for his half-smile in the last panel, that sentence would’ve been open for interpretation.
“If we’re not careful, mankind will be extinct before we can get to them. If we don’t resolve this, we won’t get to play with genocide at all, this time!”
Dunno if it’s just me, either, but I’m getting a Frankenstein vibe, here. (No other reason than random brainfarts, to be honest.) I’m getting the imression that them henchmen were created, rather than recruited, by winghead.
My money would also be on Elvy. The only others I can think of who go around warping reality on a daily basis are heaven and hell, and neither seems particularly subtle.

Considering they have hand grenades that cause small nuclear explosions I’d have to agree.
